As everyone faces a harsh winter, energy bills leave many homes in limbo, and cooking methods that don’t use a lot of gas or electricity gain traction on social media apps, deep fryers seem to have the answer.

Air fryers are medium-sized kitchen appliances that work like an oven for baking and baking food, so they can be used for everything from cakes and cookies to french fries and fried chicken.

According to the study, a rice cooker costs an average of 87p a day, while an air fryer costs just 14p a day.
This is mainly due to the fact that deep fryers require less kWh to reach their maximum temperature, and because they use more surface area, they can cook food faster.
Which the? It was found that the fastest air fryers took 20 minutes to cook four fries, while the oven took 21 to 39 minutes to cook the same amount.
However, technical publication TechRadar notes that they require more electricity than conventional ovens for extended periods of time.
Fryers work by circulating hot air around the fryer basket. To cook food quickly, this heat cycle must continue until the food is ready to eat.
While the oven heats up to the optimum temperature and then only uses enough energy to use the thermostat to keep warm, instead of blowing hot air all the time.
According to TechRadar, this means that the air fryer requires constant use of energy, but the oven does not, so if you are going to use it for a long time, the air fryer will be less efficient than the oven.
