Amazon’s Prime Early Access sale has begun and it’s easy to get disappointed. We are here to help. CNET will be updating our article on October Prime Day Deals during the Amazon sale, but I wanted to join this 8″ Made In Stainless Steel Pan. It’s on sale at a 20% discount, bringing the price down to just under $64. Yes, you can find pans cheaper. But you can wear them out within a month. Not so with this sturdy utensil.
The smallest five-layer stainless steel pan the company offers is a great introduction to premium kitchen products. First, I was attracted by the company’s desire to partner with American manufacturers. But I was hooked after using this pan. I use a stainless steel breakfast pan on the stove every day and it roasts my sausages and potatoes like a champ. But it is also able to go into the oven and withstand baking temperatures up to 800 degrees.
One thing to note, the Amazon page for the stainless steel pan says it’s made in the USA. This applies to many of the company’s products, but this particular frying pan is actually made in Italy. On the company’s website, the founders mention that they use American and Western European manufacturers, so I have no complaints.
You can buy a cheaper pan during this sale, but I promise it won’t last as long as a composite stainless steel pan. I’ve tried a lot of cheap pans every day just trying to cook eggs, so it’s worth investing a little more now for better performance in the long run.
